When I first took a flight to Delhi, I was not aware that this city of contrast would leave me overwhelmed though I wasn’t prepared for it. After having touched down on the Indian soil, this city came as a shock to my senses. The traffic, with its harsh honking of horns, the exotic smells and sights, and a lot more seemed quite unpleasant to my mind which I had to accept, as I wanted to explore Delhi in and out. But once I got accustomed with the pace the city’s stored for every first timer like me, then it became easy for me to take in to the charm of Delhi I found hard to resist. I was literally left in awe as I came closer to this unique and multi-coloured place boasting of its great ancient past and appealing contemporary present.
